Bring a friend!
Wed, 02/04/2015 - 3:00pm

Valentine's Day is almost upon us. A time of year when no one wants to sit at home munching on leftovers when they can step out and have a yummy, hearty lunch with friends and other community members. On Feb. 9 at noon, Spectrum Generations will be hosting a special Valentine's Luncheon.

Make a reservation and treat yourself, a friend, a neighbor or a loved one to a relaxing, delicious, indulgent Brighten Someone's Day Luncheon at the Coastal Community Center, 521 Main Street in Damariscotta.

Chef Jim Brown, former owner of the Upper Deck Café in Boothbay Harbor, is offering guests a choice of Mediterranean pasta with fire roasted tomatoes or artichoke quiche accompanied by a beautiful salad with roasted beets, crumbled blue cheese, walnuts and a raspberry vinaigrette dressing, a side of corn and broccoli casserole, a homemade Valentine's dessert and beverages.

What better time than Valentine's week to shake off the winter blues, to relax over a leisurely lunch, to enjoy the company of friends or to meet new friends without being stressed about cleaning, decorating and preparing a special meal?

Advanced reservations are required. Please call 207-563-1363 by Friday, Feb. 6 to reserve your seat and make your entrée selection; $8 per person if you bring a guest who has never been to a special seasonal luncheon at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center. Otherwise $10 per person.
