Our year is winding down at the Friends of the Library Used Bookstore. The fall schedule is now in effect with the store being open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until the end of November (hours 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

As always, the porch is open 24/7 until the store closes. At that time remaining books are discarded, so take advantage of the many great porch books available for a small donation.

Again this winter the Friends are asking that, after Dec. 1, you hold your book donations for a few months until spring. The back “barn” where the books are sorted is not heated and it is challenging to deal with many books during the coldest months. 

Many volunteer hours and hundreds of books donated and sold have made this another successful year for the bookstore.
