The Universe Gym has a new dance teacher

Ashley Steeves, dancer, choreographer, instructor and co-founder of the Resurgence Dance Company, will be teaching ballet classes at The Universe Gym beginning April 6. Fabiana Moraes photo
Ashley Steeves, artistic director of Resurgence Dance Company, a local performing arts troupe, is a new dance teacher at The Universe Gym.
Steeves will be offering a variety of classes for all ages: adult beginner ballet, contemporary ballet (ages 13-plus), ballet technique (ages 8-12) and pre-ballet (ages 3-5).
The session runs April 6 through June 23. No classes are held during school vacations and holidays. Gym members will receive a 20 percent class discount.
