Dear Editor:

The Community Photo Shoot on Tuesday morning has left me full of appreciation for the more than 100 people, representing 39 nonprofit organizations, who came down to the field to show their continued support for local charities.

Thank you to Boothbay Region High School for allowing us the use of the field; it was the perfect location to gather. A special thank you to Jonne Trees and Ryan Leighton from the Boothbay Region Community Television station for taking the photo, despite some technical difficulties. Most importantly, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every person who supports these important community resources, with their time, talent and treasure.

November is a natural time of the year to take a moment to reflect on what one is grateful for in his or her life; living and working in the Boothbay region is high on my list.
