'Today was a fairy tale' at BRHS Nov. 21-22

Sat, 11/15/2014 - 8:45am

The fall musical at Boothbay Region High School, "Today was a fairy tale," will be presented on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 22 at 1 p.m.

This year, find out what happens when fairy tale characters you know and love are trapped in the queen's castle, including Cleopatra. There may never be happiness in the kingdom again. They sing their way through this delightful comedy with songs such as "Walk Like an Egyptian," "I've Got You Babe," "I Can See Clearly Now," "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and many more hits from the past.

A fun time for the whole family. Show conceived and directed by Mary Miller, with costumes by Paulette Carter. Performances will be in the high school auditorium. General admission. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students.
