Tim Sample makes his annual pilgrimage to the opera house

Maine humorist, author and prize-winning syndicated columnist Tim Sample returns to the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor on Thursday, June 25.

The celebration of the 53rd Windjammer Days Festival extends to the opera house stage for an evening of storytelling and a bit of music, Sample style.

He has brought his brand of Maine humor to audiences throughout the country, but when he returns home to Boothbay Harbor, the stories often pack a special zing.

Sample has authored over two dozen books and audio recordings and was a regular contributor on CBS’ “Sunday Morning.” Along the way he has been recognized with advertising and newspaper awards while maintaining a steady touring schedule.

Advance discounted tickets for the performance are $20. Tickets purchased on the day of the show are $25.
