Dear Editor:

We would like to invite all supporters of the Boothbay ice rink to help set it up for yet another season of free, healthy, family fun, this Sunday, November 29, at 1 p.m., at the Boothbay Fire Station. If you can, please bring cordless drills with Philips head bits and sledge hammers to this community effort, or just bring your enthusiasm! All ages and abilities are welcome. We'll have refreshments for all the volunteers.

If you haven't already done so, please also complete the six-question online survey being sponsored by the Clifford Park Redevelopment Committee. Please go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/TZC6XLT, and select "ice rink" as your #1 choice. Please also ask your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to do the same.

Another way to support the rink is by making a tax deductible donation to the "Boothbay Civic Association" (and note that it is for the BBY Ice Rink), P.O. Box 81, Boothbay, ME 04537. A donation to the rink could be the perfect holiday gift for that hard-to-shop-for loved one.
