Thelma A. Sprague, 94, of Old Bath Road, Wiscasset, died November 1, 2015 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

She was born in East Machias on June 8, 1921, a daughter of Frank and Vivian Berry.

She graduated from Machias High School and on May 29, 1942 she married Grover A. Sprague.

She enjoyed writing in her diary and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was a member of the Eastern Star in Wiscasset.

She was predeceased by her husband, Grover A. Sprague, on October 31, 2007, and one brother, Lonnie Berry.

She is survived by three sons, Donald Sprague and his wife Mona of Jefferson, Frank Sprague and his wife Linda of Wiscasset, and Marvin Sprague of Wiscasset; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Wiscasset Community Center, Route 27, Wiscasset on Sunday, Nov. 22 from 3 to 5 p.m.
