“American Sniper,” is the story of Chris Kyle, U.S. Navy SEAL and the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history. Kyle serves four tours of Iraq with only one mission: to protect his brothers-in-arms. His pinpoint accuracy saves countless lives on the battlefield, earning him the nickname "Legend." When he finally retires from service, Kyle finds he can't retire his memories of the war.

Directed by Clint Eastwood, “American Sniper” stars Bradley Cooper as Kyle and Sienna Miller as his wife, Taya. “American Sniper” plays at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 19.

In “Wild,” Cheryl Strayed (Reese Witherspoon) makes a rash decision. After years of reckless behavior, the destruction of her marriage, and being haunted by memories of her mother Bobbi (Laura Dern), she sets out to hike more than a thousand miles on the Pacific Crest Trail — alone.

Director Jean-Marc Vallee (“Dallas Buyers Club”), Academy Award winner (and 2015 nominee for this performance) Witherspoon and Academy Award nominated screenwriter Nick Hornby (“An Education”) bring bestselling author Strayed’s extraordinary adventure to the screen.

“Wild” plays at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 21, Wednesday, Feb. 25 and Thursday, Feb. 26; Sunday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m.

“Unbroken” follows the incredible life of Olympian and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in World War II — only to be caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. Plays Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 19 at 2 and 7 p.m.

Stop by for a special kids screening of NT Live: “Treasure Island,” Robert Louis Stevenson’s story, captured live in a broadcast from London's National Theatre.

It’s a dark, stormy night. The stars are out. Jim, the inn-keeper’s granddaughter, opens the door to a terrifying stranger. At the old sailor’s feet sits a huge sea-chest, full of secrets. This three-hour adventure is suitable for children 10 years and up. Friday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. Tickets for youth 18 and under $5 at the door.

Downton in Damariscotta: Season 5 of the highest-rated drama in PBS history, “Downton Abbey,” plays the latest episode on Fridays in February, free to the public. Episode 7 plays Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.

“Selma” is a chronicle of Martin Luther King Jr.'s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965. Nominated for two Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. Playing Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 22 at 2 and 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 2 and 7 p.m., and Thursday, Feb. 26 at 2 and 7 p.m. Presented in partnership with Renys.
