The Road Home theme will be represented in a variety of works including Ola Gjeilos “The Lake Isle,” a lyrical contemporary piece featuring David Martin on guitar and Dean Stein, violin. Among other pieces are “Serenade to Music” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Bob Chilcotta's “Furusato,” a lovely collection of Japanese children's songs put to western-style music; “Wanting Memories” by Ysaye Barnwell, and “The Road Home” by Stephen Paulus.

Vocal soloists for the concerts are Nancy Grace Dersham, John Adams and Lincoln Academy senior Sam Bailey. Hana Hirano and Nancy Gault helped the chorus with the Japanese lyrics.

Tickets are $15, students free. They are available in advance at Sherman's Maine Coast Bookshop in Damariscotta and Now You're Cooking in Bath, or at the door. For further information call (207) 644-1174.
