Suzanne (Suzie) Jones’ art work will be on display in the lobby of the First National Bank through February and March. This exhibit is sponsored by Boothbay Region Art Foundation.

Suzie has been a creative member since she moved to Boothbay Harbor in 1998. She began painting watercolors in the style of Rudolf Steiner and now creates mostly multi-media collages combining papers and paints, found things and fabric.

For 10 years she spent her summers singing and acting on stage as well as altering and repairing costumes backstage at The Boothbay Playhouse. Her largest creation ever was for the Playhouse: an almost full sized cow created on plastic canvas and assembled for the tower scene in “Spamalot.”

She owns and operates Suzie’s Seams altering, repairing, and sometimes creating fabric art for customers, family and friends.

The Boothbay Harbor branch of the First National Bank is located at 77 Oak Street. Call the bank for hours of operation: 633-5149.
