Susan Reynolds Brown, born in Dover, New Hampshire on Feb. 28, 1934, died Sept. 27, 2014.

Susan was predeceased by her husband, Robert Sanford Brown and their son, Peter Edmund Brown. Susan was also predeceased by her parents, Philip Lewis Reynolds and Barbara Clark MacGowan and siblings, Joan Reynolds O'Rourke, Marcia Reynolds Sutton and Philip Lewis Reynolds Jr.

Susan is survived by her loving children, Robert Sanford Brown, (Nancy), Brenda Lou Brown Johannes, (William), and Elizabeth Susan Brown, and by her beloved granddaughter, Lily Brown. Susan is also survived by her brother, David Gardiner Reynolds, sisters, Kate Reynolds Kraska and Betsy Reynolds Cargill, and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Susan's bright light has been dimmed and will be sorely missed by friends and family alike. She was a delight to anyone who knew her, always the first to step in and help, and always the first to offer prayers and solace to all who needed it. She was a great booklover and a fan of the arts and made great use of all of the Boston art venues with her friends and family. In 1999 Susan retired from a very successful career real estate sales in Wellesley, Massachusetts and moved to Boothbay Harbor and gave hours of her time to her new community.

Our love to you, Susan. You have imprinted all of our lives so greatly. Sleep warm, sister.
