Dear Editor:

We need community leaders Stephanie Hawke and Les Fossel in Augusta.

Both Les and Stephanie have served the Boothbay region with distinction. Stephanie on the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD School Committee and as an active member of the Rebuilding Together program in Lincoln County. Les serves on the Lincoln County Planning Commission and on the boards of Spectrum Generations, Eldercare Network of Lincoln County and Mid-Coast Chambers of Commerce. He is an active member of St. Andrews Community Committee and the Morris Farm Trust Advisory Board.

Stephanie is a business woman, employer and owner of Hawke Motors. Les is founder of environmentally conscious Restoration Resources headquartered in Alna. 

They share the same philosophy for working effectively on behalf of our community: listen to people’s needs, seek consensus, find solutions. They will represent the Boothbay region in that manner if elected to go to Augusta in November. Stephanie to the State House and Les to the State Senate. I wish them well on Nov. 4.
