Support Hawke and Dow
Dear Editor:
Stephanie Hawke owns Hawke Motors where she provides jobs for local people. Her husband and sons are lobstermen. She has served many years as a local school board member. In Augusta, Stephanie is devoted to local issues and pledges to continue to focus on directing the taxes we pay to hometown needs and issues if she is re-elected to the House.
Dana Down owns Dow Furniture where he provides jobs for local people. In prior years he taught chemistry and physics in a nearby high school. He is well aware of the needs of local businesses and local schools as shown during his prior service in the Legislature.
Our local towns will benefit with Hawke in the House and Dow in the Senate -- experienced and devoted to local businesses, local schools and commercial fishing. They will do their best to prevent re-distribution of the taxes we pay to other parts of the state.
