Super Bowl subs for sale at Edgecomb Community Church

Mon, 01/16/2017 - 8:45am

The Edgecomb Community Church is undertaking a renewed fundraiser from a few years ago. Super Bowl subs will be made and sold by the church’s mission committee in order to raise funds for their ongoing local charitable works.

Sunday, Feb. 5, Super Bowl Sunday, will be the day on which members will make and deliver preordered subs to area residents. A choice of ham or vegetable subs with all the fixings will be made on white or wheat 6-inch sub rolls. A small bag of chips and a small soda will accompany each sub order.

Orders can be made by obtaining an order form from the church or from any church member, or by calling Marjorie DiVece at 882-6338 to place an order. Orders will then be made available for pickup at the church, Sunday, Feb. 5, from 1-3 p.m. Delivery can also be arranged. Each sub will cost $7, including the chips and soda.

So, take a break from getting dinner for the Super Bowl and support the mission outreach of Edgecomb Community Church, UCC, 15 Cross Point Road, Edgecomb, by purchasing fresh homemade subs for this annual sporting event. Orders will be taken until Friday, Feb. 3.

All proceeds will benefit the church’s mission giving efforts.
