Mellor classroom: Two boxes of #2 Ticonderoga pencils; Box of 24 Crayola crayons; 16 glue sticks; boys, box of gallon-size Ziploc bags; girls, box of quart-size Ziploc bags; one backpack

First grade

Andrews and Ingraham classrooms: Two 2-pocket folders; box of Crayola markers; box of 24 Crayola crayons; ten Elmer's glue sticks; pair of scissors; two boxes of Ticonderoga yellow pencils; one Crayola watercolor paint; box of quart-size Ziploc bags with slider closure; box of gallon-size Ziploc bags with slider closure; one backpack

Second grade

Maxim and Crocker classrooms: One 1-inch three ring binder (plain cover and inside pockets); one 1.5-inch three ring binder (plain cover and inside pockets); one Composition notebook (100 pages); two boxes (one dozen) of #2 pencils; one package of clear plastic sleeves (50 or 100 count is best, Walmart or Staples); box of colored pencils; watercolor paints and brush (six colors is fine)

Third grade

Sceviour and Jones classrooms: Pencil box; plenty of #2 pencils; pencil sharpener with shavings holder; one plastic homework folder; one 1-inch hardcover three ring binder with metal rings and inside pockets (no trapper keepers, no notebook paper needed); one 2-inch hardcover three ring binder with metal rings and inside pockets (no trapper keepers, no notebook paper needed); thin markers; highlighters; colored pencils; children's scissors; glue sticks; three marble-colored Composition notebooks (wide-ruled, please put your name on the cover of each); boys, box of gallon-size closeable storage bags; girls, box of quart-size closeable storage bags

Fourth grade

Hartley classroom: Two 1.5-inch heavy duty, clear view three ring binders (these binders need to last the entire year and are used daily. The clear view pocket in front is for labeling the binder); three Composition notebooks (no spiral bound or flimsy cover, look for the marble-colored, hardcover kind); box of 24 colored pencils; two fine point black Sharpies; one set of watercolor paints and brush; one sturdy pencil box to fit inside desk (for pencils and Sharpies). The following items will be gathered and used collectively for the entire classroom, this helps us ration our supplies: two boxes of #2 pencils (Dixon Ticonderoga preferred); girls, one box of sandwich baggies; boys, and one box of gallon-size plastic bags.

Fifth and Sixth Grade

Five 1.5-inch three ring binders (lightweight); four packages of 8 dividers; one accordion-style homework folder (five to seven sections); one set of colored markers; one set of colored pencils; blue or black pens (erasable are best); #2 Ticonderoga pencils (we do not recommend mechanical pencils); one pair of scissors; one glue stick; one package of notebook paper. Note: At home, all students should have access to a good dictionary and a good atlas. A good thesaurus and a book of idioms would also be helpful. We will provide assignment notebooks.

Seventh and Eighth Grade

Language Arts: Grade 7: one 1.5-inch three ring binder; five dividers with tabs; spiral notebook; Grade 8: one 2-inch three ring binder; five dividers with tabs

Math: Grade 7: one spiral notebook; Grade 8: Scientific calculator (TI-30X IIS, available at Walmart or Staples); one 1-inch three ring binder; five dividers; composition notebook

Science: Grades 7 and 8: Pocket folder with three ring brad

Social Studies: Grade 7: Spiral notebook; one 1.5-inch three ring binder; five dividers with tabs

Family Consumer Science: One portfolio folder with three ring brad

Additional supplies for Grades 7 & 8: White lined paper; pens (blue/black ink); pencils (many!); highlighters (five pack); headphones or ear buds; suggested: Assignment notebook
