Sign up today for marketing workshops

Tue, 02/28/2017 - 7:30am

Register today for the first of a series of marketing workshops at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library. Conducted by the Boothbay Register and the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce, the first workshop will be held Wednesday, March 8 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Kipp Wright and Sarah Morley of the Boothbay Register will be joining Luise Lichtenberg, BHRCC visitors & members services coordinator, and board president Michael Maxim, in leading the first of the two workshops centered on Facebook and marketing your business through the social media outlet. In the first class, they will help people create a page for their business or update a current page and discuss the first steps of: creating a post, planning themes, how often to post, and how to boost your posts with paid advertising on Facebook. The second workshop, on March 22, will dive into some more specific details that include: branding and messaging, strategies for using paid advertising on Facebook, and the importance of advertising in all media outlets, both social and print.

The workshops are offered free to members of the Chamber of Commerce, but non-members may participate by paying a fee of $50 per workshop. For more information, or to register for the first workshop, please contact Luise at the Chamber of Commerce at 633-2353 or via email at luise@boothbayharbor.com.
