Ryan J. Innes

Ryan J. Innes, 35, died Jan. 3, 2016 unexpectedly at his home in Wiscasset.

Ryan was born in Bath on Feb. 9, 1980, a son of Larry and Joanne (Gower) Innes.

He graduated from Morse High School in the Class of 1999. After graduation, he attended art school classes at the University of Maine in Augusta. His specialty was caricatures, done in pencil; he enjoyed doing these caricatures of his friends and favorite musical groups.

He was employed at Shaw’s in Bath for a short time, L.L. Bean in Freeport as a temporary, and finally at Bath Iron Works for 13 years.

Ryan loved guitars. He had several and played very well. His favorite group was Pink Floyd. Even though he was quiet about it, he could play the solo guitar riffs almost as well as David Gilmour.

He is survived by his mother, Joanne Innes of Brunswick; his father, Larry Innes of Benton; one brother, Scott Innes of Richmond; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9 at the funeral home.
