Dear Editor:

I visit my wife and son daily using Barters Island Road and I pray every time I go around the monument that I will get safely past the yield sign. I really favor the roundabout. It will be a tremendous improvement for the town and me.

I have been here since 1953, both as a tourist and in business (Spruce Point Inn) and I have seen many changes in our town. Many initially had opposition, like the roundabout, but always the town favored the right solution.

I would like to thank our generous friends, loyal tourists and Mr. Coulombe. Because of his generosity, our town is the best.
