Dear Editor:

Saturday night at the American Legion Post 36 in Boothbay, the community gathered to give me the most rewarding experience of my life. The community support I received was overwhelming. The love and compassion expressed lifted my spirits after a major mishap (house fire) I experienced.

There were so many well wishers there it is totally difficult to name them all. With the love of this community, rebuilding will be much easier.

Community people here are what makes America great.
