Re: Destabilizing our nation and planet

Dear Editor:

I would like the thank Mr. Hammond for his insightful letter on various issues facing our nation and planet. However, I have a few questions for Mr. Hammond to further my understanding of the issues he raises.

1. Are the “feedback loops” that will destabilize our nation similar to the previous administration choosing not to enforce valid laws it did not like?

2. What specific ethics violations are being concealed? Has anyone been charged with a crime for ethics violations? When will media report them?

3. Is implementing the wishes of a donor making political contributions an ethics violation?

4. What specific items in the president’s legislative agenda will widen the gap between the haves and have nots? Doesn’t the president’s legislative agenda have to be passed by Congress before taking effect?

5. The financial disparities between the elites and the other classes are an issue. What should be done to correct the problem?

6. Do the socialist/communist governments of Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea or China fit the description of “kleptocracies”?

7. Are people that have succeeded in the business world not qualified for government positions?

8. Does praying to God, Allah, etc. to end a drought make a person unqualified for a government position? If yes, why?

9. Is there proof the president only gets his information from Fox News and the Twitterverse? Doesn’t he listen to Rush Limbaugh?

10. Are there any nations that cause greater damage to the environment than the USA?

While Mr. Hammond has valid concerns, he would strengthen his positions by stating facts vs. expressing personal opinions based on his dislike of the president.

Lead!
