Dear Editor:

It seems that we really need direction as taxpayers, living members of the community and “locals,” as far as plans for a new center common in Boothbay. We need to remember what the common used to look like (yesterday).

Look no further as we just allowed our hub of New England to be torn down.

How can we make this better? Did we already forget what New England architecture looks like? Think about it.
