Dear Editor:

This morning (September 22), some low rent fool stole our "Clinton/Kaine" sign on Back Narrows Road. This occurred at about 6 a.m. when this "slug" stopped their car to steal the sign.

This is not the Maine way of conduct, but some apparently lack the intelligence or capacity to respect another's right to express their preferences. This has been reported to the Sheriff's Office (non-emergency) and will also be reported to the Lincoln County Democratic Party office in the event that more of these incidents have or will occur.

My only personal response to the person who did this is to "get a life" and learn to respect others.
