To help chase away the winter doldrums, the walls at the Damariscotta River Grill showcases a variety of artists, subjects, style and mediums. Art at the Grill hosts 19 of the Pemaquid Group of Artists from Jan. 24 through March 21.

A reception will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 4- 5:30 p.m. to welcome the artists while savoring Chef Rick HIrsch’s delicious hors d’oeuvres.

This talented group of Midcoast Maine artists include Julie Babb, Bruce Babb, Stephen Busch, Mark Chesbro, Dianne Dolan, Peggy Farrell, Sarah Fisher, Claire Hancock, Kay Sawyer Hannah, Kathleen Horst, Hannah Ineson, Will Kefauver, Jan Kilburn, Sally Loughridge, Marlene Loznicka, Judy Nixon, Paul Sherman, Liliana Thelander, and Beverly Walker.

The Pemaquid Group of Artists’ mission is to provide a venue for qualified area artists, enrich the cultural environment for area residents and visitors, and foster and support art education through financial donations. The group comprises up to 30 members and seasonal guests who display their work between June and October at the Pemaquid Art Gallery.
