Patricia Ann Giles of Boothbay died peacefully at the Winship Green in Bath on Jan. 30, 2015.

Patricia was born on Barters Island to Clarence Campbell II and Irene (Harrington) Campbell. She was a graduate of Boothbay Region High School class of 1960. Her class was the first class to attend Boothbay Regional High School all four years.

Patricia loved traveling all over the country and often took bus tours to many different attractions. Patricia collected stuffed animals from all of the places she visited. Patricia loved animals, but she especially loved her cats. She also enjoyed listening to country-western music and spending time with her family.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Creighton Giles Sr.; her infant sister; and her brothers, Clarence Campbell Jr., Gordon Campbell and Bert Campbell.

Patricia is survived by: son, Dan and wife Tina Giles of Boothbay; daughter Sarah and husband Glenn Hyson of Boothbay; son, Jack and wife Pam Giles of Bedford, New Hampshire; sister, Beatrice Rowe of Vassalboro; granddaughter, Becca Giles of Westport; grandson, Chris Hyson of Boothbay; grandson, Ryan Giles of Mooresville, North Carolina; grandson Grant Giles of East Boothbay; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m., at Hall’s of Boothbay, with a reception to follow at the American Legion Hall in Boothbay.

In lieu of flowers, Patricia would like memorial contributions made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 7, 27 Atlantic Highway, Edgecomb, ME 04556.
