Story Location:
107 Ridge Road
Walpole, ME 04573

This two-day event is free to all and open to the public. Why? It's time to bring awareness and education about the current Opioid/Heroin Epidemic. This epidemic is devastating to the great state of Maine and the United States as a whole, with hundreds of deaths a day nationwide.

"Recovery is a Process" and Rockers In Recovery® has amassed some epic speakers and some long-term in recovery rockers on the topic. This is to help communities know that there is hope and they can find resources.

Educational - It's dedicated to providing the community with addiction prevention and education information to help families, community outreach leaders and anyone who suffers with opioid/heroin addiction.

The thinking and actions around the Rockers In Recovery® Meet & Greets are simple: educate and help people in need. RIR teams up with addiction professionals that are present at all of the Meet & Greets. The most important point is to provide answers to people seeking help for loved ones or themselves about recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
