Osman Page in Boothbay Harbor, provider of accounting and technology outsourcing services for small businesses and nonprofits, recently announced the addition of two new members to the management team.

Dan Pangburn joins the Maine office as chief technology officer, responsible for directing the information technology outsourcing business, and Ken Schofield assumes the role of president and chief operating officer, anchoring Osman Page’s South Florida branch.

Schofield brings a wealth of operational, accounting and IT experience to Osman Page. Ken was formerly the president of BikeStreet USA, a retail roll-up of bicycle retailers in Florida and the Carolinas.

Prior to that, he was the COO of Hear USA, a $120 million hearing aid company, where he led the company’s acquisition team, increasing the number of retail locations and company revenue by nearly 40 percent, and eventually facilitating the company’s purchase by Siemens.

Earlier in his career, Schofield served as IT Manager for Swift and the Controller for Teltara. As a former client of Osman Page, he’s intimately familiar with the benefits back office outsourcing can bring to an organization, and he’s looking forward to helping expand the client roster, especially in the South Florida market he calls home.

Pangburn is a Microsoft certified system administrator who brings to Osman Page 12 years of experience in the IT field leading and supporting a wide range of mission critical applications and support personnel.

Pangburn most recently served as system administrator of facilities services with Cornell University, but his background includes technical oversight within police departments, environmental health and safety, energy management and control systems, and sustainability departments where he led the migration from physical to virtual technologies and championed end user adoption.

His certifications also include MCSE, MCIP, MCP and MCST.

Pangburn will spearhead the expansion of the Hosted Technology Services business, assisting clients in establishing and maintaining secure, stable, and sensible technology investments and environments.

Osman Page co-founders Mohamed Osman and Jennifer Page launched their business in Maine in 2009, following successful careers in financial and information technology management and sales. For more information, visit www.osmanpage.com.
