On Monday, May 23, Heather O’Brien pled guilty to felony charges of theft and forgery for stealing over $1,000 but less than $10,000 from the Boothbay Region High School Boosters Club.

In the deferred disposition O’Brien signed, she agreed to pay $4,986 in restitution, have a mental health evaluation within 30 days, participate in any counseling prescribed as a result of the evaluation, complete 200 hours of community service and submit a letter of apology.

If O’Brien successfully completes the agreed upon terms, her conviction will be reduced to misdemeanor theft and forgery.
