Nicole Giles weds Robert Fallon

    Nicole Giles and Robert Fallon were married aboard the Novelty in Hodgdon Cove, West Boothbay Harbor on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013. The Reverend Peter Panagore officiated at the Celtic Hand fasting ceremony. Nicole is the daughter of Denise and Michael Marr and Stephen Giles, all of Boothbay. Robert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fallon of Boothbay Harbor.

    Bridesmaids were Courtney Campbell of Woolwich, Holly George of Wiscasset and Jenna Williams of Boothbay Harbor. Flower girl was Alexandra Poland of Woolwich, and ring bearers were Dante George of Wiscasset and Aiden Locke of Boothbay Harbor. Groomsmen were Adam Reneicke and John Kelley of Boothbay Harbor and Thomas Vooght of Yarmouth.

    The bride arrived at Pier 8 in the Boothbay Railway’s 1962 Rolls Royce driven by family friend George McEvoy. George also chauffeured the bride and groom to the reception at The Opera House.

    Nicole’s beaded ivory satin gown with a jade chapel length train was an Alfred Angelo design. Her calla lily bouquet was designed and created by her cousin, Doris Smith of Boothbay.

    Nicole is a graduate of Boothbay Region High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University. She is employed by New Hope for Women as the child protective services liaison. Mr. Fallon is a graduate of William Smith and is employed by CarQuest.

    A honeymoon cruise of the Caribbean is planned for the spring. Nicole and Robert reside in Waldoboro.
