The nerve of some people

Tue, 01/10/2017 - 7:00am

Dear Editor:

I have heard that this political rookie we have somehow elected president has vowed to replace ObamaCare with a more taxpayer-affordable private/public health insurance scheme. The scheme has no embedded real estate/medical device taxes, permits interstate competition, protects Medicare/VA recipients, subsidizes indigent/unemployed/unhealthy Americans with High-Risk Pools and existing Medicaid, preserves the Constitutional right of young/healthy Americans to risk being uninsured without penalty, and ensures that all working American families with employer-subsidized private group plans will be offered a choice between low cost catastrophic insurance, and the pricier but more comprehensive plans ... and he even promises to not name it after himself!

Doesn’t this guy realize that ObamaCare never had anything to do with “affordable insurance” to begin with, and that individual Americans, especially taxpayers, don’t matter at all in the big, collective picture?
