Dear Editor:

Bruce Engert brought up at the June 27 Boothbay Harbor selectmen’s meeting the depth below grade of the storm drains on Atlantic Avenue after the Hagar paving job and the consequent difficulties for drivers. The same is true of some of the Boothbay storm drains and water system access points on newly-paved Route 96 in East Boothbay proper. Avoiding them means dodging, or moving toward the middle of the road, or swinging wide out side roads. Whether Hagar, or the town, or the state, or all three are responsible, I hope some action will be taken.
