This month at Savory Maine: Americana, folk, country, gospel and more

Savory Maine's November music series features musicians every Thursday (except Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27) and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., from around the Midcoast to entertain and delight diners at Savory Maine.

The month tunes up with Giff Jamison on Saturday, Nov. 1; Kathy Nordone and friends on Thursday, Nov. 6 will fill the restaurant with sounds of Americana, folk, country, gospel and inspirational music; on Saturday, Nov. 8 its folk, country, bluegrass and oldies with Rusty Hinges.

On Thursday, Nov. 13, guitarist/vocalist Brian Cullen will perform classical, contemporary, Brazilian, flamenco, Spanish and Broadway songs; Saturday, Nov.15 its Sylvia Tavares playing classic folk and original music.

Stan Davis, who plays and sings a mix of traditional and original songs from the blues to lyrical hymns about modern country life, returns Thursday, Nov. 20; Lora Stanchfield and Gary MeCue entertain on Nov. 22.

After the holiday, on Saturday, Nov. 29, Jan Marie Bacon, who sings predominantly songs of the 60s and 70s, including folk, pop, Broadway, comedy will close out the month

Savory Maine is located at 11 Water Street in Damariscotta. Savory Maine is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving lunch and dinner, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
