As the Pinetree Fall Club Soccer League winds down, our Midcoast United Soccer Club teams had a great overall weekend.

This week we hosted three games at Clifford Field in Boothbay, and had one team on the road. Our U10 kids met up against the Seacoast Seadragons of Brunswick in the first home match.  Midcoast took home the win, 6-4, over the Seadragons. Goals were scored by Maddox Tilas (3), with a clean assist by Isaac Thompson. Thompson, Nick Archer and Mason Woodman each contributed one goal. Will Farrell and Tilas split the goaltendng for Midcoast.

The Bronco travel soccer team of Hampden traveled to Boothbay, meeting our U12 team for the second game of the day. Jacob Craig scored the first Midcoast goal on a corner kick by Ben Pierce. Natalie Farrell and Jack Duncan had a goal a piece, to lead our Midcoast U12 team on to the 3-0 win over the Broncos. Garrett Day and Andrew Gudroe split time in goal for the shutout.

Midcoast's U14 team met the Patriots of Gray-New Gloucester in the final home game of the day. Playing with no substitutes, the Midcoast team held on tight. Tim Chapelle capitalized on a corner kick by Simon Spear in the second half, answering the Patriots' first-half score. The teams ended in a 1-1 tie.

Midcoast United's U9 team were on the road this weekend, meeting a tough Freeport team. Alexx Roy scored the lone Midcoast goal, while Freeport took home the win, 3-1.
