Daria J. Mellinger and John C. Banner, both of Salem, Ohio, were married Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at the Salem Historical Society's Heritage Gardens.

The ceremony was officiated by The Rev. Bruce R. Irwin of Ellsworth, Ohio.

The couple, both retired with relatives in the Boothbay region, went on a honeymoon trip to the French Polynesia Archipelagos. They are residing in their Salem, Ohio home.
