Megan Hodgdon graduates from UMF

Megan Hodgdon of Boothbay graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington, magna cum laude, with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education on May 14.

Megan graduated from Boothbay Region High School in 2007 and immediately went to work for the YMCA Child Enrichment Center, where she is now head teacher of the infant room.

While working full time, she decided to further her education and enrolled at Southern Maine Community College where she was inducted into the National Honor Society of two-year colleges and graduated with high honors, earning her associate’s degree. She then applied to and was accepted at UMF.

Megan is the daughter of Ted and Sherry Hodgdon of Boothbay.
