Martin Ronan Donohoe passed away at home in Portland, Maine on Aug. 3, 2017.
He was born in Ireland, raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and spent over 20 summers in Cosy Harbor, West Southport, Maine.
As a boarding school student, Marty graduated from Maine Central Institute then went on to complete studies at the Culinary Institute in New York. He spent numerous years as a lead chef for Marriot, where his command of Spanish was a great asset.
Fran and Edward Donohoe, longtime residents in Cosy Harbor proceed him in death, as did his dearest love, Barbara. He is survived by sister, Ellen, and her family in Minnesota.
