Marion M. Bradley

Marion M. (Morris) Bradley of Bedford, Massachusetts, formerly of Southport, died July 8, 2016.

She was the wife of the late Rev. Edward W. Bradley. Mother of Karenlynne Bradley of San Leandro, California, Marsha A. Burt and her husband Robert of Bourne, Massachusetts, and Faith B. Armstrong and her husband Scott of Bedford, Massachusetts; sister of the late Gloria Tirrell. Marion is also survived by nine grandchildren and11 great-grandchildren.

Marion was also predeceased by her grandson Jason Edward.

Mrs. Bradley was very active in the churches that her husband served, involved with youth group, women’s group, church fairs and singing in the choir. During her retirement, she served as docent for the Southport Historical Society at Hendricks Hill Museum. She was actively involved in the Southport United Methodist Women, The Southport Garden Club, the Lincoln Arts Festival, the St. Andrews Auxiliary and volunteered as a reader to the residents of the Gregory Wing.

She also enjoyed knitting, gardening, bird watching, playing Mahjong with friends and entertaining many guests in her home.

She traveled to Great Britain and Europe on several occasions and also enjoyed trips to Alaska, Mexico, Canada and Venezuela, as well as across the United States.

A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, July 30 at the First Baptist Church, 1580 Mass. Ave. Lexington, Massachusetts at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
