Letter to the Editor

A man I looked up to

Tue, 02/10/2015 - 9:30am

Dear Editor:

He was the embodiment of a man’s man, came back from many defeats. And he kept on trucking.

He breathed his last breath, only to begin his next winning chapter on the other side.

He illustriously joins the one woman he loved so dearly, in the one place where she awaited his arrival all these long years.

While he fought to stay with the ones he helped to mold, now that they showed their colors, and in one voice, thanked him and told him they were ready for whatever would come their way.

I respected his long, seemingly endless journey. Rest in peace and join your one love, and know that we are capping our dance on this earth. And coming to join you in heaven when our time on this earth is through.

Dedicated with love and warm affection to Gerald Hyson. Every light in the house is on — follow your guiding star!
