Beginning on Sept. 12, Maine Media Women will hold its monthly round-table meetings at the River Arts Gallery on Route 1 in Damariscotta. These meetings are free of charge, and there is ample parking next to the gallery.

MMW round-table meetings offer opportunities for women to share their creative work in a congenial, supportive, and informal group setting. Artists and writers are encouraged to bring samples of their work, and anyone interested in supporting them is welcome to attend. MMW meetings are always open to the public.

The Sept. 12 meeting will run from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m., and attendees should plan to bring their own coffee, tea, or snacks. River Arts is located at 241 U.S. Route 1 in Damariscotta, just north of N.C. Hunt Lumber.
