Tue, 04/15/2014 - 1:00pm

    Dear Editor:

Boothbay Region Lions Club would like to thank everyone who attended the Boothbay Craft Brewery Event on Friday, March 28, celebrating our “Lions Tale Ale.” A special thanks to Win, Lori and Cody Mitchell for the use of their tavern and the idea for the event. Thanks to Win for making the “Lions Tale Ale.”

Without the following supporters with their donations our event would not have been a success: Whispering Winds of Change, Sarah Hodgdon; Sherman’s Book Store; Janson's; McSeagulls; Wiscasset Ford; Boothbay Harbor Country Club; The Cutting Edge; Dead River Company E.M. Wood Construction; Dan’s Auto Repair; A Silver Lining; On Target Utilities; Kaler's Crab and Lobster; Richard Shea; Grover's Hardware; Two Salty Dogs; Viking Lumber; Boothbay Region Greenhouses; Coastal Maine Popcorn Factory; Good 'N You; Lisa Walby at Salon Capella; Dragonfly Massage; N.A. Reny Construction; Eventide Specialties; Hometown Convenience; Robinson's Wharf; Mama D’s; M.W. Sewall; Dave and Corinne Arel; and Watershed Tavern.

Also without the help of the following people the event would not be a success: Cameron Mitchell, Debbie Todte, Mike Giles, Britton Irwin, Jason Channis, Lori and Win Mitchell, Cody Mitchell, Jonne Trees and Channel 7, Marsha and Don Soler, John and Lynn Perreault.

A big thank you to all the Lion members who attended and also who made food for the night.

We would like to thank Katrina Clark of the Boothbay Register for articles on our club and for attending the event and writing about it.

The proceeds will go to our building fund to use for the many repairs needed.
