Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Numerous arrests

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

Recent arrests

On May 9, Kenneth B. Flower, 41, of South Bristol was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy William Owen.

On May 12, Earl C. Farnsworth, 73, of Newcastle was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release, on Mills Road, Newcastle, by Detective Scott Hayden.

On May 12, James R. Clark, 41, of Wiscasset was arrested for Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon, on Old Sheepscot Road, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus, who was assisted by Detective Sgt. Ronald Rollins.

On May 12, John R. Matheney, 24, of Gardiner was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault, on Morgan Hill Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Chase Bosse, who was assisted by Deputy Aaron Beck and Deputy First Class Brian Collamore.

On May 13, Michael L. Brewer, 61, of Union was arrested on a Probation Violation; Eluding an Officer; Possession of Firearm when Prohibited; Violating Condition of Release; Operating under the Influence; Aggravated Driving to Endanger and Failing to Stop for Officer, on Back Narrows Road, Boothbay, by Deputy First Class Brian Collamore, who was assisted by Sgt. Alan Shea and Reserve Deputy Neil Genthner.

On May 13, Henry D. Thompson, 31, of Newcastle was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault, on West Hamlet Road, Newcastle, by Deputy John Braley.

On May 14, Wesley R. Bowden, 27, of Whitefield was arrested on a Kennebec County warrant for Failure to Appear, on Townhouse Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

On May 14, Pedro Lopez, 32, of Bristol was arrested for Criminal Mischief and Aggravated Assault, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.

Recent accidents

On May 10, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Kari W. Babcock, 49, of Boothbay and Christopher L. Graves, 26, of Boothbay Harbor.  Mrs. Babcock was stopped in her 2010 Buick Lacrosse at the intersection of Route 27 and Route 1 and was preparing to enter Route 1.  Mr. Graves was following Babcock in his 1999 Chevrolet 1500 when Babcock pulled forward and stopped for a vehicle. As a result, Graves pulled forward and struck the rear of Babcock’s vehicle. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.

On May 13, an accident occurred on State Route 129 in South Bristol involving Susan M. Connery, 56, of South Bristol. Ms. Connery was operating her 2009 Honda Fit southbound when she reached for an item and lost control by over correcting. As a result, her vehicle crossed the center line and went into the northbound travel lane before coming to rest in the northbound ditch. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

On May 13, an accident occurred on Route 27 in Boothbay involving Garen P. Manzo, 25, of Millinocket and Jennifer Wacker, 43, of Topsham. Mr. Manzo was operating his 2014 Mazda 3 northbound and Ms. Wacker was following Manzo in her 2000 Sterling. Manzo slowed for a vehicle turning and Wacker struck the rear of his vehicle. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
