Dear Editor:

To my utter shock and joy I was crowned Miss Shrimp Princess on Friday night. I am writing this letter to say thank you to some very important people in my life.

To my mom, thank you for taking the time to do my nails, makeup and hair. I love you!

To my daddy, thank you for sharing your love of music with me and playing guitar for me. I love you!

A big thank you to all of the people who donate their time to the pageant. It couldn't exist without you.

To all of my fellow contestants, you guys are all winners to me!

I have enjoyed being part of Fishermen's Festival this year. It was a lot of fun.
