Learn to make early summer dinners

    On three early summer evenings, June 24 to June 26, FARMS will host cooking classes at the Community Kitchen (above the Rising Tide Community Market) in Damariscotta. These classes have been planned with early summer entertaining in mind:

    • June 24: 6-8 p.m., “Satisfying Mexican Fare” (tortillas, black bean casserole, fajitas and salsa)
    • June 25: 6-8 p.m., “Tasty Indian Dishes” (dal, raita and yogurt-based mango lassi)
    • June 26: 6-8 p.m., “The Very Best of Seasonal Maine”

    Each evening, experienced cooking teacher and FARMS Youth Program Director Karen Kleinkopf will welcome your help as she prepares delicious, protein-rich dishes.
