Le Garage participates in Maine Restaurant Week

Wiscasset’s Le Garage will join restaurants across the state for the seventh annual Maine Restaurant Week, taking place March 1-14.

Le Garage is set to serve a three course meal during restaurant week with traditional, vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

Le Garage has been a Wiscasset staple since Charlotte and Crosby Hogman founded it back in the summer of 1974. Since then, Le Garage delighted locals and visitors. Steve White has been with Le Garage for many years, and the once aspiring sous chef is now the kitchen's head chef.

Owner Cheryl Rust calls White an “engaging and caring young man who values working with local businesses and is tirelessly dedicated to finding the freshest and most savory ingredients available.”

DineOut Maine writer Nancy Heiser wrote that everyone should bring their “... family members or friends who seek a water view, love classic dishes ably prepared, and are fond of traditional desserts ...” to Le Garage.

Le Garage, located at 15 Water Street, features a full bar, and a lower deck that serves a lighter pub menu. Le Bar is open nightly Tuesday through Sunday.

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday 11a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Brunch is offered until 1 p.m.
