Knights of Pythias

Wed, 02/28/2018 - 12:00pm

Greetings from the Knights of Pythias Boothbay Lodge #32.

Well, the weather dealt us a blow on our dance night but the show went on. For those who braved the roads we thank you for coming out and getting a chance to hear some great music. We will be getting them back again so more of you can enjoy them. The weather will break in our favor soon!

We are starting some new people on their way to becoming new members of the Knights of Pythias. We welcome new people to join in and you'll see why being a member has some great perks for just joining.

The KP Hall will be a busy place this week with families using it. We are glad to be able to help them out with the use of our building.. On Sunday March 4 at the hall, the friends and family of Garry Blackman and Frank Bretton will hold a fundraiser. This will help send Garry and his granddaughter Nataleigh, along with drummer Frank Bretton to a music competition in Tennessee in March. This will be a spaghetti lunch with a auction to follow. Just a donation for the lunch and then the fun begins on some great auction items. So bid often! Plus Garry/Nataleigh and Frank will do a few songs for you. This all starts at noon and we hope you can make it. For more information on this, contact Karen at 633-0831.

We will be hosting more dances soon and maybe a Country Music Sunday as well. Thank for you support and we hope to see you at our events.

For more info on the KP Hall contact Tim at 315-5520 or Garry at 633-0831.
