“Cowboy Billy” at the K.P. Hall on Saturday

    Coming to the Knights of Pythias Hall, Lakeside Drive, Boothbay Harbor this Saturday night, Jan. 21, it's the Cowboy Billy Band featuring Malinda Liberty. The group plays a wide range of music from Patsy Cline to Janice Joplin, also Johnny Cash to Creedence Clearwater Revival. And plenty of other artists. This 5-piece band has something for everyone to enjoy. Both Melinda Liberty and Frank Coffin are members of the Maine Country Hall of Fame.

    Doors open at 6 p.m. and the dance starts at 7 and ends at 11. The cost is $15 for singles $20 for couples and is BYOB. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be on sale from the kitchen.

    On Jan. 23, Chef Kim Mills will serve up a pot roast dinner for members and guests. $10 per person and BYOB. Serving starts at 6 p.m. with an open meeting to follow.

    Friday night darts are up and going and open to all of those who want to play. Start time is 7 p.m. and bring your quarters. Also Sunday afternoon cribbage is going on for those who like to play and this starts at noon.

    Things are shaping up good for a busy February at the K.P. Hall. The car raffle is still going on so purchase your tickets at Mainiac Lobster or Hawke Motors as well as members; $10 per ticket and winner will be drawn on Feb. 11 at a dance featuring Tim Sprague & the Murky Water Band.
