Dear Editor:

It would take an entire page to thank all the wonderful people who were so kind to my father-in-law Herb Mullen. He cared so much about his friends and church family. He looked forward to seeing all of them every week.

A special thank you to Pastor Steve Nash of the Boothbay Baptist Church, and Al and Becky Roberts of the Boothbay Fellowship. Thank you for the hospital and home visits and constant prayers, encouragement and support. A special thanks to the aforementioned people for leading the beautiful memory service honoring Herb Mullen, and those who took part sharing memories and song. You have blessed our hearts. Herb would have loved it, too. Thank you all for the outpouring of support, the cards and prayers during this difficult time.

Herb is with his wife, Sandra, celebrating their first Christmas in heaven. In that, we find peace.
