Kale Halperin weds Alexander Williams

Kale Miller Halperin and Alexander Todd Williams were married Sept. 20, 2014 in South Haven, Michigan with Billy Dalton officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Wendy Anderson Halperin and John Mooy of South Haven, Michigan, and David Halperin and Carol Schifman of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. She is employed by LeSportsac in New York as senior print and pattern designer.

The groom is the son of Berry Lancaster Williams and the late Sherman T. Williams of East Boothbay.

He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a co-founder of Rich, Brilliant, Willing, a contemporary lighting design company in Brooklyn.

The bride was attended by maid of honor Lane Halperin of New York City, sister of the bride, Lilly Wendel of Brooklyn, Brendan Smith of New York City, Michelle Halperin of Queens, New York, sister-in-law, and Abby Williams of Portland, sister of the groom.

Co-best men were Theo Richardson of Brooklyn, New York, and Charles Brill of New York City, Carter Read of Brooklyn, Nicholas Wilson of Portland, Maine and Joel Halperin of Queens, New York, brother of the bride.

After the ceremony and reception, held at the home of the bride's mother and stepfather, the couple left for a honeymoon trip to Peru, which included the exploration of Lima, Ollyantaytambo, Machu River and the Amazon jungle.
