Johanna Ludwig Weston, 84, of Walpole, died June 3, 2016 at the Assisted Living Facility of Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. 

Johanna was born in Furth, Germany on October of 1931, the daughter of Peter and Rosa Ludwig, and sister to Maria, all of Germany. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Berkley.  The couple was married in 1953, and resided in Walpole since 1974, where Johanna enjoyed being a homemaker.

In addition, Johanna is survived by one daughter, Heidi and her husband, Frank of Greene, New York; granddaughters, Valerie, Heather, Ann Marie and grandson-in-law, Douglas Griffin. She was the proud great-grandmother of Thomas, Jessica, Michael, Taylor, Wiley, Nicole, Thomas James, John, Quinn and Gavin.  Johanna will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched.
