Dear Editor:

Why is it necessary to revamp Corey Lane and add a roundabout near the south end of the Boothbay Common? Is it truly an issue of safety and enhanced traffic flow?

This significant change would add a confusing, city-like atmosphere, rather than a serene, welcoming entrance, to our beautiful region.

This change may be less advantageous than it appears. All that glitters is not gold!
